2 Equals 1

Here's one for the mathematicians out there.

A lot of people out there don't know this,
but the number 2 is actually equal to the number 1.

Here's the algebraic proof :

	Defined	A=B
	Multiply both sides by A	AxA = BxA
	Which is the same as	A² = AB
	Subtract B² from both sides.	A²-B² = AB-B²
	Factor	(A+B)(A-B) = B(A-B)
	Divide both sides by (A-B)	A+B = B
	Substitute B for A (by definition)	2B = B
	Divide both sides by B	2 = 1
